So, You’re Wondering What Kind of Coach I Am?
I get this question a lot, and honestly? I love it. If I could, I’d invite these questions over for coffee, let them put their feet up on my coffee table, and have a real conversation about what coaching with me actually looks like.
Because while I love what I do, I’m not for everyone. And that’s a good thing.
So, let me lay it all out on the table—because if we’re going to work together, you should know exactly what you’re getting:
ONE: I’m not here to sell you some “just think positive” nonsense.
You’re not broken. You don’t need to be “fixed.” But you do need to stop waiting for motivation to magically show up and start doing the damn thing. My job is to help you get clear on what’s keeping you stuck, and then? We move. No fluff. No toxic positivity. Just real, actionable shifts that put you back in the driver’s seat of your life.
TWO: You don’t need to have it all figured out.
There’s no rulebook for how you’re supposed to do life. (And if there was, I’d probably set it on fire.) You’re allowed to change. You’re allowed to want more. You’re allowed to step into something new, even if it terrifies you. I don’t care if you’re starting from scratch or untangling years of limiting beliefs—we start where you are and we go from there.
THREE: I don’t believe in “just manifest it.”
You want change? You have to work for it. No amount of journaling under the full moon is going to magically make your life fall into place. My coaching isn’t about passive wishing—it’s about actively becoming. I’ll help you recognize patterns, break cycles, and actually take steps toward the life you want.
FOUR: I’ve been there.
I’ve been financially stretched, exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of what’s next. I’ve had moments where I thought, Is this it? and times where I felt like I was pouring everything into work and leaving nothing for myself. I know what it’s like to doubt yourself. And I also know that you are capable of more than you think.
FIVE: I don’t let you hide behind excuses.
We all have that inner voice that says, I’ll do it later, or I just need to wait for the right time. Nope. Not here. If you say you want something, I’ll hold you to it. I’ll challenge you. I’ll check in. I’ll call you out (lovingly). Because I know how easy it is to talk about change. I help you actually do it.
SIX: I work with reality, not fantasy.
I’m not going to tell you to quit your job, move to Bali, and make six figures from a laptop on the beach (unless, of course, that’s genuinely your dream, in which case, let’s figure out how to make it happen responsibly). If you have a mortgage, kids, a demanding job, or just a life that doesn’t allow for spontaneous reinvention, we work with that. Because real, sustainable change happens within your reality, not outside of it.
SEVEN: I don’t believe in “just be grateful.”
Gratitude is great. I highly recommend practicing it, often. But let’s not pretend it’s a magic cure for real struggles. You’re allowed to want more. You’re allowed to be frustrated. You’re allowed to have big, messy, complicated feelings. My coaching isn’t about dismissing those—it’s about working through them, understanding them, and using them to grow.
And Finally: I keep it real.
I swear. I laugh. I tell it like it is. I’m the same person in a coaching session as I am in a coffee shop, on a walk with my dogs, or belting out songs while I clean my kitchen. If we work together, you get all of me. No pretending. No scripts. Just honest, meaningful conversations that lead to real transformation.
So, if you’re looking for a coach who will challenge you, support you, and push you (with love) toward the life you actually want, then let’s talk.
If you’re looking for someone to just agree with you and tell you what you want to hear?
I’m probably not your person.
But if you’re ready to take real steps toward the life you deserve—I’m here for it.
